This week, we are happy to bring you the first installment of our Artistworks studio sessions from the “Big Guitar Getaway” filmed last December! Keith Wyatt, Guthrie Trapp, and Nathan East were joined by session drummer extraordinaire Deszon Claiborne for an entire day of music, jamming, and teaching. Each artist chose a few of their favorite standards to to jam with the group, and each of them brought their own unique flavor to the mix. This week, the guys jam over “Cissy Strut”, one of the Meters greatest hits! We’ll be adding new performance videos in the coming weeks, check back next week for a new one!
