Organized by Dr. Wendy Sternberg of Genesis at the Crossroads, Saffron Caravan is a true World Music group, consisting of Kiu Haghighi, santur (Iran), Humayun Khan, vocal/harmonium (Afghanistan), Haroun Alam, tabla (USA/Pakistan), Jean Leroy, percussion/vocals (Canada), and Howard Levy, piano/harmonica/leader.
