Great news coming in on a Sunday night!! The 29th Japan Gold Disc Award 2015 was taking place earlier tonight and since Japan doesn’t have Grammy’s, this is something similar.
In the category Best Album Asia, I have written songs on all 3 winning album releases (Tohoshinki “Tree”, “With” and Girls Generation “The Best”)!
Tohoshinki also co-won in the Best Album International category w “Tree” and in the Best Video category for their live DVD from the “Tree-tour”. Also these 2 releases includes. songs I’ve co-written, so happy to be a part of a total of 5 awards!! Well…Tohoshinki also won Artist of the Year, so I guess I can say I contributed a little to that as well through my songs 🙂
And on both the TVXQ/Tohoshinki songs: “Crazy, Crazy, Crazy” & “Special One” I’m playing improvised distorted guitar solos at the end 🙂
