Although Freddie King was a blues guitar player, he was certainly a master of Rock Faces. He takes Rock Face performance one step further in this video, where he dramatically punches the air to end a note.

It almost looks like he’s boxing an invisible opponent, and knocked them to the ground with that last note.
I know when I see something good, so I tried to replicate the move at a recent photo shoot. Obviously, I’ve got some work to do before I get close to the style and intensity of Freddie King. But I think I’m headed in the right direction.
