Here’s how to control how many notifications you receive.
Too Many
If you feel you are receiving too many notifications, you can reduce the number by going to your Student Page, choose the “Preferences” button at the top, then choose the small “Subscriptions” tab. There are 3 kinds of Notifications: Pages/Threads, Content Types, and Categories. Click on each of them, and you will see a list of the content you are “subscribed” to. You can “uncheck” as many as you like, then click “Save” at the bottom of the page.
Not Enough
To add subscriptions, choose “Subscribe” when you find this link on a topic of interest. “Subscribe” is found on Forum messages, and on various other pages of your school.
What Happens
When you subscribe, the school sends you an email to the email address associated with your account whenever there is a new posting to that Forum topic or comment area.
