I’ve been having the weirdest dream lately– but I keep waking up and finding that it’s true! Mike Marshall and I —The DUO— are going to Cologne, Germany in December to play a mighty concert with the WDR Big Band– Germany’s finest and largest Jazz ensemble. Our original music… arranged by Saxophone legend Bob Mintzer (Jaco Pastorius, Yellowjackets,etc.) Of course I’m freaked out. I’m representing American Fiddlers, and playing over dominant structures to the max… but what an incredible ride this will be. It’s happening December 18th, not sure what time yet.
